Hope Is a Choice We Make Together is an ongoing collaborative work that aims to foster care and reciprocity between human and more-than-human species.

Embodying the spirit of gift economy, this work gifts visitors plantable, recycled, biodegradable paper seeds from which they can grow Black Cherries and American Black Elderberries. Through the nurturing of these plants, each visitor is provided the opportunity to create an ideal habitat--a meaningful contribution to local bird, bat, and insect populations in the northeastern United States.
